The project entitled "Integrated development of the tourism offer of the Rétköz - Development of the built, intellectual and natural heritage of the Rétköz for tourism purposes, development of product packages in the Rétköz", the separately eligible activities of the call for tenders entitled "Socially and environmentally sustainable tourism development" of the Operative Program for Territorial and Urban Development D) which is aimed at creating tourism product packages.
This point of the call supports the implementation of "territorially complex developments based on the cooperation of several tourism actors".
In this case, Rétköz as a tourist destination can be considered territorial, and the extensive cooperation is ensured by a consortium of 7 organizations.The project includes a total of 7 feasibility locations.The direct goal of the project is to position Rétköz as a tourist destination and strengthen its role in the tourism of Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg County.
Catalyzing complex tourism product development in the region, based on the natural, cultural and spiritual endowments and recreational opportunities of Rétköz.
Encouraging the tourism integration of the Rétközi region and its transformation into a unified destination, strengthening tourism cooperation at the regional level.
